A fantastic Vintage (ca1960s) Cuban link chain bracelet with a very stylish look made by the famed maker Cartier! Made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold and platinum, this amazing?piece is comprised of filed oval-shaped links that form a classic Cuban link pattern. The 22 smooth, flat links connect in an overlapping fashion, the two ends of the bracelet meeting at a secure push clasp disguised within the design. Resting in the center of each link are alternating rubies and diamonds, each of which is?prong set within a platinum topped gold bezel. The 11 diamonds, which have a total weight of approximately 1.50ctw, exhibit F/G range color and VS1/VS2 range clarity and the 11 rubies total in weight at approximately 1.50ctw. Two gold safety latches at either side of the clasp provide extra security when worn. The underside of the clasp is hallmarked with "Cartier" and stamped "18K" with a serial number ending in "0341". Both fashionable and comfortable to wear, this versatile everyday piece by a legendary maker could be worn alone or layered with other complimentary gold bracelets!
Measurement: The bracelet measures 7 3/8" long and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. The Cuban link pattern measures approximately 1/4" wide, with each individual link measuring approximately 1/2" long. The total pennyweight of the piece is 17.1?dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the gold links. The clasp is very tight and secure, and both safety latches are intact and in good condition. All of the diamonds and rubies are intact and securely set.
